Introducing Our Cannabis Grow Net Support Systems
Commercial crop production can be an ongoing balance between growing leaf or stem, and flower or fruit. For most crop producers, the revenue comes from flower or fruit production, and growers try to grow the minimum amount of leaf or stem in order to sustain their flower and fruit production. This allows growers to allocate a greater percentage of input energy towards the revenue generating side of crop production.
Grow net installation.For cannabis growers, this is no different. Producers and breeders tend to adapt practices, and select traits that promote maximum flower yield, relative to the overall biomass of the plant. This can often lead to maturing plants becoming top heavy, and the risk of stems kinking, or being unable to support the weight of the flowers. To overcome this, some growers implement a net or trellising system, to help support the heavy flowers, alleviate stress from stems.
To complement our highly space efficient rolling benches, GGS has developed an all aluminum Grow Net Support system that is durable, easy to install, and height adjustable to accommodate crops of various strains. These brackets simply clip onto the side rail of your GGS benches, and are tapped into place with a rubber mallet. Once the side clip has been installed, you are able to mount the 60” long upright support tube, and adjust the height as needed. From here, netting can simply be attached to the support tubes using plastic zip ties, or simply stretched over the support tube.
This allows your grow net support system to be sturdy, yet modular and adaptable. The simple installation process requires no drilling or hardware, which greatly saves on the time required to install. This also offers forgiveness in adjusting the spacing between the supports if needed.
