The project involved the construction of the North Carolina State University’s roof top greenhouse; it is a Venlo style glass greenhouse totaling 10,000 sq ft and houses 11 individually sealed compartments with 2 built in adherence to BSL 3 standards. The greenhouse is equipped with adjustable grow lighting, forced air heating, evaporative cooling system, HAF fans, vertical and horizontal shade, blackout curtains, fertilizer injectors, fog system, automated roof venting, weather monitoring and sensors, fixed and roll benching, and state-of-the-art Argus controls.
